Proposed changes to Tenancy Laws and how they could change the way we do business is of real concern. Landlords gave their submissions on the Residential Tenancies Amendment Bill. Topics included ending no-clause tenancy terminations, increasing the amount of notice a landlord must give to tenants, limiting rent increases, rent bidding and more. Regulating property managers, the standards in the Healthy Homes Act such as; heating, ventilation, insulation, moisture ingress, draught stopping, drainage and political matters currently affecting landlords. Andrew will explain all.

Andrew King is a highly regarded property investor.
By age 24 he owned his own home and an investment property in Wellington. Having graduated with a Diploma in Business Studies at Massey University, Andrew believes investors should develop a property business plan. Andrew’s enthusiasm led to the development of the Auckland Landlords magazine which he later sold and that grew into the monthly Residential Property Investors Magazine we have today. He has a cabin hire business called Room Mate Cabins.
Andrew has previously served as President of the New Zealand Property Investors Federation looking after 21 associations throughout NZ. He recently stood down as Executive Officer to again take up the role of President of NZPIF.
Not only is Andrew a successful businessman but an author and National Best Seller, having written two property investing books. Andrew is always sought after by Radio Stations and TV interview programs sharing his knowledge on property investment matters.
