‘Future-proofing – Keeping your properties fit for the future.’ Jackie Thomas-Teague shares her work on making her properties more efficient, catering for changing tenant needs now and in the future, building resilience and financial sustainability for both occupants and owners. Jackie draws on her long experience with renovations and property management to fill you with lots of ideas to give you the pick of tenants, keep them long term, and maximise the value of your property. Every investor will find something of value in this talk, and walk away empowered with ways you too can make a positive difference to the lives you touch through your investment properties while also getting a great return on your investment. When she’s not talking to our Association, Jackie enjoys a lifestyle block, runs a BnB and a sustainable property management company, teaches at a community college, and has fun with her family. She also placed Highly Commended in the Rent Skills Award in 2023, and encourages everyone to enter to lift the perception of landlords in our country.
