Maps What spatial data can do for you
Rachel has been teaching the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology at Massey University for a number of years. She has watched the country go through the capture of spatial data, that includes roads, rivers, property boundaries, geology etc, to its use by councils for reporting, to it becoming freely available and being used in all walks of life.
Rachel will show us sources of information, and various queries you can ask and changes you can observe to help us in our property journey.
