Sharon is the first female President of the NZ Property Investors Federation. She has been investing since 1998 and lives in the Hawkes Bay where she is also President of the local association. Sharon is passionate about growing a NZ membership and in her first year has been challenged by the numerous legislative changes.
Donna’s large section was difficult to mow. Her idea of subdividing and relocating another house on it was “killing two birds with one stone”. The Resene’s renovation award focuses on structure and decoration. The Judges said that Donna's project was cleverly designed to use under-utilised space and created extra income.
Leilani is the current Landlord of the year recipient. From the Hawkes Bay she demonstrated a high standard of Compliance with the RTA and her record keeping was excellent. Her tenants describe her as a warm and friendly landlord with clear expectations. Leilani believes in a duty of care to her tenants and that while it’s her property, more importantly it is the tenant’s home.
